Eileen's Allhallows Workshop

Hi everyone.

This is the first opportunity I have had to tell you about the fantastic workshop I had with Eileen Godwin at Allhallows.
We had a fabulous day, with great inspiration from Eileen.

Card 1

Using the white side of Centura Pearl card stock,
I used distress inks to blend the background.

I removed the roller from a brayer and wound torn strips of cheap masking tape around the roller before snapping back into place.

I misted the brayer heavily with water and rolled it rapidly over my distress ink background a few times, and dried it with a heat gun.

I added some more ink through a stencil.

Finally I  stamped the images, Studio 490 stamps from Wendy Vecchi.
Such fun to do.

Card 2

Distress inks blended background on the card.

Flick water over the background and dry with a heat gun.

Draw an oval shape on to the background in pencil as a guide, and stamp with small foliage or flower stamp around to make the wreath using various colours of distress inks.

The Love was cut from Quickutz dies.

 The butterflies are punched.

Card 3

I used three colours from the Citrus inks range.

I added small amounts of ink straight onto my craft mat and swiped the card through the inks to get a beautiful effect.

The leaf images were stamped in various colours of Archival inks.

The Clarity Dream stamp was also stamped in Archival ink.
