Happy Friday

Thought you might like to see a couple of things I made with "Men" in mind.
The first was a card for a 50th birthday card for a guy who loves motorbikes.
The bike is a Clarity stamp embossed with gold powder. Distress inks used around the edge. The background I got from the internet and I glazed the route 66 badges with Diamond glaze.
Bakers twine used around the corrugated card.

The tag was something I made for a friend of mine.
Using the same stamp I embossed in silver this time
 and coloured with Pro markers.
Distress ink around the edges.
Words were typed on computer and cut out,
 tag finished with string.

Hope you like what I have made.
Hope you will drop by again soon.

Wednesday 9 July 2014

Hi to everyone who has taken the time to drop by.

Today I thought I would show you some cards that I made at Eileen Godwin's June Rochester workshop. We all had a fab day as usual and made some amazing projects

This first card we made using Spellbinders M-bossibilities 3D Embossing Folder  'Creative Cogs' from Oyster Stamps, Art Foil Board, along with Treasure Gold Waxes in various colours and some die cut Cog Shapes.
Its quite strange that in the photo the cogs look as if they are
de-bossed but they are in-fact attached to the front with Pinflair Glue.
I sent this to my friends husband for his birthday. I attached his name in the large cog die with letters cut from black card.

The second card  was created using a set of Jumbo Stamps from Stampendous and distress inks, along with various stencils from Memory Box.

I then used the same stamp and coloured it using Promarkers. Quite a different effect.
At first I was a little unsure with this stamp, but I now love it and have achieved some really funky cards with it.

Sunday 6 July 2014

Would you believe it, I don't blog for a such a long time and now twice in one day!!!

Just thought I would share with you
the projects we made at Eileen Godwin's  workshop yesterday. What a fabulous day we had making a flip book and card. You could hear a pin drop we were so engrossed.
Eileen is using hers to store her embossing folder samples.
Not sure what I am going to use mine for yet.
Thank you Eileen for a brilliant day.

Two Chipboard Covers, both sides

We used 2 Chipboard Covers, both sides of each one we painted using Emulsion Paints.
When totally dry, we stenciled an image over the paint using Distress Inks, then stamped with JOFY and Dylusion Stamps using Momento Ink. The images were coloured with pro markers.
Some Treasure Gold gilding wax around the edges, a couple of jump rings and a quick spray with 'Spray and Shine'.

This card was made using reverse side Centura Pearl card. Distress inks splodged on and heat dried.
Stamped with JOFY stamps with Memento ink and coloured with Pro markers.
Clear Wink of Stella used to highlight.

Morning All.

Just thought I would share this card with you that I made for a 60th wedding anniversary.
I got the idea from a card made by Hellen Pearce.

I made this using Heartfelt Creation Time stamps
adding the 60 over the clock face.
The die is a Spellbinder die and the words are computer generated.
For the insert I wrote "How time flies".
The recipient was well impressed.
