Good Morning folks.

Today I thought I would share a tag I made for a dear crafty friend of mine.

The theme was
"I do like to be beside the seaside".

I feel it puts us in the mood for the lovely summer months
to come and lifts the 'winter blues'

The stamp I used is Faye Whittaker's "All Our Yesterdays:
The beach is made from fine sandpaper.
The waves were liquid appliqué.
The sea and sky are coloured with Pan Pastels,
everything else is coloured with Promarkers.

Hope you like it.

Hi to everyone who has taken the time to drop by.

Today I thought I would show you some cards that I made at Eileen Godwin's June Rochester workshop. We all had a fab day as usual and made some amazing projects

This first card we made using Spellbinders M-bossibilities 3D Embossing Folder  'Creative Cogs' from Oyster Stamps, Art Foil Board, along with Treasure Gold Waxes in various colours and some die cut Cog Shapes.
Its quite strange that in the photo the cogs look as if they are
de-bossed but they are in-fact attached to the front with Pinflair Glue.
I sent this to my friends husband for his birthday. I attached his name in the large cog die with letters cut from black card.

The second card  was created using a set of Jumbo Stamps from Stampendous and distress inks, along with various stencils from Memory Box.

I then used the same stamp and coloured it using Promarkers. Quite a different effect.
At first I was a little unsure with this stamp, but I now love it and have achieved some really funky cards with it.

Morning Bloggers

Today I thought I would tell you about my ATC journey.
About 18 months ago I thought I would join an on line ATC swap.
I signed up and got the name of my first swapper.
I had to make 3 ATC's and send them to a lady in the USA.
It then occurred to me that the majority of my stamps are large.
On went my thinking cap, how I was going to get my images onto such a small piece of card?.
My idea was to stamp the images and then scan and shrink them to make them ATC size.
That worked fine.
As they were printed on an inkjet printer I had to colour with pro markers as the ink will run when wet.
Anyway these are my first attempts.
The first theme was
 'Loves me, loves me not.'

This is a lovely stamp by Nellie Snellen. I have distressed the background and coloured the image with pro markers.

This stamp is by Joanna Sheen & Faye Whittaker called 'All our yesterdays'.
On this one I just used pro markers to colour.

And lastly my third.
This a Sheena Douglas stamp called 'Just the two of us'.
The background is distress inks and the image is coloured with pro markers.

Well thats it for today.
This has taken me quite a while to do as keep pressing the wrong buttons.
Hope you like my 'Shrinkies"

Skeleton Card

Today I thought I would share this card with you.
It has made everyone who has seen it smile, so I hope you do too.
I have stamped it with some stamps my daughter gave me for Christmas from a company called Bombshell Stamps.
I have stamped it with black soot distress ink and coloured with promarkers.
Thank you for looking at my blog today.
